TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read the following conditions carefully.

1. The terms and conditions apply to all business transactions carried out by us www.regplatedesign.co.uk, hereafter referred to as the ‘Company’.
   
   
2. The person who is applying for these bespoke goods from us the ‘Company’ will hereinafter be referred to as the ‘Purchaser’
   
   
3. Your statutory rights are not affected. It is the sole responsibility of you the Purchaser to ensure that all the correct details are entered onto the Company internet forms and submitted or given to the Company’s representative at the time of purchase. The Company’s representative will use standard phonetics to refer to combinations requested by the Purchaser. Under the Distance Selling Regulations the Company must notify you that the service we provide begins as soon as an order is received, be that by internet, telephone or post. Subsequently there is no ‘cooling off period’, the transaction cannot be reversed and no refund can be given. In no circumstances shall the Company be made responsible for any wish by the Purchaser to cancel the agreement. In such cases where any payment made shall be refunded in full, provided that the failure is through no fault of the Purchaser but by the Company. The Company’s liability is strictly limited to a full refund only and no claims for damages; interest on monies paid or any other expenses shall be entertained. Whilst every attempt is made to ensure the fastest possible dispatch of goods, the Company cannot guarantee any specific time period for the full transaction. The Company cannot accept responsibility for delays or errors caused by the postal system, third party carriers and electronic mail.
   
   
4. The Company manufactures ‘Show’ registration plates only, from our offices in Jersey. These are manufactured and supplied for ‘off road’ use only, rally days, car shows, exhibitions and use on private land where the law does not apply. Due to stringent restrictions of trade placed upon the Company by the DVLA, all registration plates will be sold to the Purchaser on the basis of being for show use only and the Purchaser may risk prosecution if the registration plates are used on the UK highway. Registration numbers must be displayed correctly. To mis-space or mis-represent your letters and numbers in any way is an offence under the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulations 1971. No verbal conditions or guarantees expressed or implied shall have effect on these terms and conditions unless written and initialed by one of the Directors of the Company. In any term, provision, covenant or condition of this agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, void or unenforceable; the remaining provisions of this agreement shall remain in full force and effect and shall not be affected, impaired or invalidated. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties in respect of the purchase. Every effort is made to ensure that the material shown on this web site does not cause offence to any individual or third party. If there is any material on this web site that does cause an offence to any individual or third party then the Company welcomes that the individual gets in contact and we shall the consider removal of the offending material. This agreement will be governed and constructed in accordance with English Law each party thereto submits to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
   
   
5. All orders are sent by First Class Royal Mail and should arrive 4-5 working days after they are sent. Packages not delivered by the Royal Mail will not be considered as ‘lost’ for a period of 15 working days at which time a replacement will be sent out.
   
   
6. COPYRIGHT – All the logos, brands and product names are the property of their respective owners, and are offered only as a convience. www.regplatedesign.co.uk is a company separate and distinct from the companies who own the logos that are on our website. No guarantees are given or implied as to the accuracy of any of the logos or to the colour accuracy used. Before the Purchaser attempts to purchase a show plate containing a logo, the Purchaser must first receive the permission of the holder of the copyright or trademark of the chosen logo. The purchaser then agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the company for any liability incurred as the result of the purchaser’s unauthorized use of material contained in the show plates, including but not limited to the use of logos in the violation of any right of the trademark or copyright holder of such logos. Please do not hesitate to contact us and we will remove your logo immediately from this site if you do not wish your logo displayed.
   
   
7. If you have any questions or are uncertain as to the meaning of any aspect of these terms and conditions you must contact us prior to placing your order, as all orders received and acted upon by us on the understanding that our terms and conditions have been read, understood and accepted by the Purchaser. 8. please note all plates are printed directly from the customer order file created by the purchaser at time of order using our fully automated system. We the company are not responsible for errors with regards to the customer input at time of order, all plates are printed to the requirements requested therefore we cannot refund or replace any orders that have been placed in error, we do however reserve the right to alter any order in line with any limitations brought into effect by materials or printing techniques used during the process of production. All images supplied and displayed are for visual guide purposes only, colours size and scale of all requested options may vary. Please check your order thoroughly before completing the purchase, any question pleae contact us before payment is made.
